Consulting

I have managed consultants, served on teams of consultants, and worked as a solo practitioner in a variety of settings. As both a board member and a staff member, I have participated in a range of strategic planning efforts at the organizational level. My experience includes:

 

• Higher education state level planning in four states, along with extensive interactions with leaders in many other states
   

• Consultations with private foundations and the National Corporation for Community Service on program evaluation and program planning;
   

• Designing and implementing a presidential evaluation for a board of trustees
   

• A national study of higher education in Kazakhstan for the Organizational for Economic Cooperation and Development
   

• Book reviews for publishers in education
   

• Guest lectureships for faculty and trustees
   

• Guest classroom presentations
   

• Organizational advising, executive coaching
   

• Executive searches
